Jackie Sink

My roots run deep in the mountains of North Carolina.  I was born and raised in the Boone area, near the Virginia/Tennessee state line. I attended Appalachian State University (yes, in my hometown) and Meredith College. After graduating, my husband and I lived briefly in Biarritz, France, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Silver Spring, MD. Each move only served to make me long more for my beautiful mountains.

In 1997, when my husband and I moved our young family to Capitol Hill, something unusual happened...I felt like I had finally come home.  Even though there was not a mountain in sight, I fell in love with this city – the people, the history and the HOUSES. Whether selling real estate, buying investment properties, or designing interiors, my world has revolved around houses.  Today, my husband and I, and sometimes our 3 grown children, live on Capitol Hill near The Congressional Cemetery. I am happy to call The District my home!
